To see the emergence of a responsible, organized, and competent Muslim community—grounded in Islamic knowledge—that actively participates in spiritual, social, and economic spheres and makes a meaningful contribution to peace and development in Ethiopia in collaboration with all citizens.

To serve, lead, and empower the Siltie Zone community by providing exemplary religious leadership, promoting authentic Islamic teachings, facilitating socio-economic development, and building bridges of understanding across the broader Siltie community.

የምክር ቤቱ ዋና ዋና ዓላማዎች (Council Objectives)

Working based on and following the Quran, Hadith, Ijma, and Qiyas
Performing religious duties free from political objectives and partisanship
Serving as a role model to instill Islamic morals and values in society
Promoting mutual respect in relationships between the Muslim community and other religious institutions
Leading Islamic affairs in the zone at the highest level
Facilitating conditions for zonal Muslims to freely promote and protect their faith using rights granted by Sharia and recognized by the FDRE Constitution
Protecting and strengthening the unity and togetherness of the zone's Muslims
Mobilizing domestic and foreign aid in consultation with the Supreme Council for the development and benefit of Muslim institutions
Organizing Islamic charities and entities in the zone to enhance their capacity and skills
Assisting Hajj and Umrah pilgrims to smoothly fulfill their religious duties peacefully and without hardship based on Council directives
Striving for the respect and protection of Muslim rights and benefits

Licensing, evaluating, supporting, and recognizing zonal Islamic charitable organizations
Ensuring proper protection and care for historical and foundational Islamic heritage sites in the zone
Accrediting Islamic educational institutions and supporting the expansion of Halal entertainment
Preparing Zakat collection rules, managing Zakat properly, and ensuring fair distribution
Supporting orphans, vulnerable children, the elderly, widows, persons with disabilities, and the needy
Striving for the appointment of Sharia court judges in woredas and city administrations lacking Sharia courts
Establishing a Fatwa institution (Ulema Council), preparing competency evaluation standards, and issuing certifications
Executing Islamic acts of worship in any mosque within the zone
Ensuring rights to receive Islamic services in local mosques and conducting related alignment tasks
Enabling diaspora Muslims from the zone to participate in local Islamic development and advocating against harms they face

Official Jurisdiction: Headquartered in Worabe, operating across all urban and rural administration offices throughout the Silte Zone.
